Hibiscus iWear is happy to announce a new addition to its Giving Back efforts! Along with the four other wonderful organizations we donate to each month we have recently added the Best Friends Animal Society. This fantastic organization works tirelessly at putting a stop to animal cruelty and finding homes for pets in need. One of their more important projects has been the No More Homeless Pets campaign which is “an effort to place dogs and cats who were considered ‘unadoptable’ into good homes, and to reduce the number of unwanted pets through spay and neuter programs.” This brilliant program is seeing amazing results and has since greatly decreased the number of dogs and cats being abused and destroyed in shelters.
While Best Friends Animal Society has shelters and projects all over the country one of the most outstanding parts of this organization is their Animal Sanctuary at Angel Canyon located in southern Utah. The sanctuary is home to almost 2,000 animals on any given day who have come to this special place from shelters all over the country for special care. While the Best Friends animal society specializes in the rescue of cats and dogs the Animal Sanctuary does not discriminate and helps all sorts of animals on a daily basis from bunnies to pigs and horses. The animals spend anywhere from a few weeks to months at this sanctuary to receive specialized care until they are ready to head off to new homes with living families. The sanctuary is a truly inspiring and magical place.

The Best Friends Animal Society is constantly giving back to these animals in need and they are always in need of things to continue the goal of no more homeless pets.
